As to survive in the place where giants like Apple ,Samsung ,Acer ,Dell,HP and others are already there .
A new Bangluru (Banglore) based start up EAFA Technologies became the first Indian start-up to launch a full-fledged tablet device, named 'Marathon', that comes with features that can't be seen even in Apple's iPad 2 or Samsung Galaxy Tab.
'Marathon' also has 3D user interface and offers quality multimedia experience with built-in Flash 10.1.
Another first with the new home-developed tablet is that it comes with standard USB ports and HDMI port, which even Apple's iPad2 lacks. The feature facilitates the tablet to be connected to any standard LCD/Plasma display.
Jitendhar G S, president and CEO of EAFT Technologies, said here that the MagicTile 'Marathon' is a 10.1 inch high-resolution MID. The device is powered by Nvidia Tegra processor, which is said to be the best graphics and mobile-cum-computing technology.
Marathon runs on ARM-11 Cortex-A9 1 GHz dual core processor, and Android 2.2 operating system.
Explaining the features of Marathon, Jitendhar said the large 10.1 multi-touch capacitive display with 1024X600 resolutions gives you the best viewing and browsing experience. Built-in flash 10.1 support makes it the most versatile mobile Internet device which can play YouTube content through the browser directly. Coupled with the highly sensitive Accelerometer, it gives you never-like-before Flash gaming experience.
The CEO said that the EAFT has tied up with India's Hungama, a content aggregator, for easy and free access to both Bollywood and regional content, loads of music and film. For the education field, the company has tied-up with India's largest educational content house, Vikas Publications, and Cyber School.
EAFT has already built an end-to-end solution for various verticals to add value to this new enterprise business whether it is education, entertainment, health care, digital signage and so on.
The 16 GB Marathon tablet is, however, priced at Rs. 29.990, which is comparable with Apple's iPad 2 or the latest Samsung's GalaxyTab.
