This was the only way I could get through to Dell in a timely manner. But then when I followed their advice and waited for a patch and the patch didn't work they said they had no record of any conversations with tech support so I was outside the 30 days for replacement.
ReplyDeleteI bitched to the BBB and Dell Corporate called and made things right. But... DON'T TRUST TWITTER SUPPORT. It's fine if you have a question. But you have to call and talk to an Indian if you want to be in their database for having contacted "official support". Assume you just talked to some random dude on the internet who might have been helpful.
Also explaining more than "It doesn't work." is damn near impossible in 140 characters.
